La Casita Secreta
In the summer of 2021, the casita had a major renovation and the house is now fully equipped. It has a cool bedroom with a double bed with plenty of storage space for your clothes and other luggage.
The bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower, made of stones from the mountains behind the house, a wall unit, toilet, boiler and washing machine.
The kitchen has a ceramic hob, refrigerator, combination microwave, Nespresso machine and kettle. And of course plenty of kitchen utensils to enjoy cooking with. If you want to enjoy a barbecue on the terrace, that is also possible!
In the kitchen you will also find a nice dining table. From here you walk through to the living room where you can enjoy the pallet stove on the chaise longue on the cooler evenings.
But the nicest thing about this house is the connection with the outside. Whether you open the doors in the living room or enter the first terrace from the front door. The view always remains beautiful. There are 3 terraces in total. Whether you are looking for the sun or the shade, there is always a nice spot to be found. On hot days it is nice to cool off in the plunge pool with a glass of Sangria, for example.
The garden
Unique to this village house is the large garden, because many village houses only have a roof terrace or patio. La Casita Secreta has a 150m2 garden with several terraces, a plunge pool and several tropical corners.
Pick the deliciously sweet figs for yogurt or pick a lemon from the trees for a carafe of water. Oranges and tangerines will also grow soon. There is something to pick every season.
During hot summer days it is wonderful to cool off in the pool. You also have a beautiful view from this corner of the garden and yet sufficient privacy.
La Casita Secreta is a wonderful place to spend your holiday. A house with all amenities and very centrally located in beautiful Andalusia. In addition to the hotspots known to everyone, such as Cordoba and the Alhambra, we also really enjoyed lunch at the B-bou hotel on Lake Viñuela, the Alhama gorge, but certainly also the beautiful mountain road there and the very relaxed atmosphere and excellent food at Baobabbeachhouse in Algarrobo. In short, a great place where we would like to come back again. Thank you very much for this!

Celebrating a week of May holidays at La Casita Secreta is great! The house is very attractive and fully equipped. Especially if you like to seek peace and nature on holiday, this is really the ideal destination.

Last year we enjoyed La Casita Secreta for 5 weeks for the first time. It was like coming home again for us. We were able to enjoy it again for another 4 weeks! And now with the plunge pool and the beautiful garden. The view remains breathtaking and we will certainly miss it. We enjoyed it again and also the friendly people in the village.

La España pura! La vida pura. That is actually the best way I can describe La Casita Secreta and also Sedella. A very nice old house in a real Spanish village. Few tourists and mainly many locals. Here a lemon is still a lemon (from your own garden) and an avocado is really an avocado. La Casita Secreta is recommended for anyone who loves the real Spain, peace, nature and the sound of birds... how busy is it in the Netherlands...
